The NFC North used to be the conference’s best argument for chaos theory: cold weather, shared hatred, and four fan bases convinced the other three are frauds. In 2025 the division settled into a clearer pecking order. Detroit went 15-2, swept the division at 6-0, and finished first nationally on our efficiency board at 33.2 points per game. Minnesota went 14-3. Green Bay went 11-6 and still went 1-5 inside the division. Chicago went 5-12. ESPN’s NFC North roundtable opens with the softer version of the same idea: all four teams spent the offseason trying to keep up with each other, and DraftKings still makes Detroit the division favorite at +185, followed by Green Bay (+235), Chicago (+360), and Minnesota (+450).
